the DEKE MCGEE band

This 5 piece Rhythm n’ blues, soul and blues band play their own original songs based arounD the Classic New Orleans, Texas and Chicago styles and sound. The Band goes out as an 8 piece at some shows with an added 3 piece horn section.

Kirk Lothian - Piano & Hammond Organ

Kirk has played with many of the Glasgow and Edinburgh blues bands for the last 20 years. ThIs has seen him sharing the stage with artists such as Main Street Blues, Rev Doc and the Congregation, The Jensen Intercepters, The Magic Blues Surfers and the Violet Leighton Band.


DUNCAN KENNEDY - GUITAR

oVER THE PAST 25 years DUNCAN has been making roots driven records directly inspired by Rhythm & Blues, Rock n' Roll, Soul, Country and Swing Music. Making new music from old music with The Strange Blue Dreams. Along the way his soulful guitar playing has soundtracked television programmes, adverts, countless live broadcasts and albums that "reimagine the roots of rock n' roll and rhythm & blues" (Americana UK Magazine).


AL GARE - DOUBLE BASS

AL SPENT MANY YEARS WITH KING PLEASURE AND THE BISCUIT BOYS AND THEN ROUGHLY 15 YEARS WITH IMELDA MAY. HE HAS ALSO RECORDED WITH SIR TOM JONES, JEFF BECK, BRIAN SETZER AND MANY MORE.


Gary Woodside – Drums

Gary is one of the finest Funk, Soul and Rhythm n’ Blues drummers playing today in the country. He has previously worked and recorded with the Ham-fat Four and the Boogaloo Investigators.
